Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is slightly better than the LG G8 ThinQ, with an 85.7 score against 84.3. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is older than LG G8 ThinQ, it's design is way lighter and somewhat thinner. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie.
Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit faster processing unit than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bits CPU and an additional graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit sharper screen than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit lower 2560 x 1440 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen.
The LG G8 ThinQ features much more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. If you want to save some money, you can get the LG G8 ThinQ, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
