The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit sharper screen than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit lower 2560 x 1440 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen.

The LG G8 ThinQ features much more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G8 ThinQ has a superior camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a lower (4K) video quality and a back-facing camera with way less mega-pixels, and they both have a 0.38 inches back camera sensor, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a lot larger aperture to take better photos and video in low-light situations.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with greater battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. If you want to save some money, you can get the LG G8 ThinQ, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
