Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note8, with an 85.7 score against 83. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge body is somewhat thinner and notably lighter than Galaxy Note8, although it was released 3 years before. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version and Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little smaller display and a little lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels amount per inch in the display. The Galaxy Note8 has a slightly bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.

If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Note8, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
