Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note8, with an 85.7 score against 83. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge body is somewhat thinner and notably lighter than Galaxy Note8, although it was released 3 years before. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version and Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Galaxy S6 Edge has a sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little smaller display and a little lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels amount per inch in the display. The Galaxy Note8 has a slightly bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit processor and an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy Note8 counts with better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 captures much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a much less mega pixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a larger aperture and a bigger camera sensor capturing better quality pictures and videos.

Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Note8. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Note8, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
