The iPhone XS Max has a general score of 84.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S6 edge+'s general score of 79.3. The iPhone XS Max body is notably newer, but just a bit thicker and way heavier than Galaxy S6 edge+. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a little more vivid display than iPhone XS Max, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher pixels quantity in each inch in the screen and a slightly better resolution of 2560 x 1440px.
The iPhone XS Max has as much storage for applications and games as the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ one, both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity. The iPhone XS Max counts with a much better performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the iPhone XS Max also has a 64-bit processing unit and a greater number of faster cores.
The iPhone XS Max features just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3179mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. The iPhone XS Max features a little bit better camera than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a camera with much less mega pixels resolution and a lower video resolution, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a bigger aperture.
Although iPhone XS Max is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S6 edge+. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the iPhone XS Max, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S6 edge+, letting go some features and specs.
