These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has newer 5.1 version and Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 version. Even though Galaxy S6 edge+ is somewhat heavier than Google Nexus 5, it's incredibly thinner and newer.
