Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a global score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than OnePlus 8's 76 general score. Galaxy S6 edge+ is an extremely older phone than OnePlus 8, but Samsung was able to make it lighter and thinner. The OnePlus 8 counts with a greater performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a larger number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a slightly better looking screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The OnePlus 8 features a superior camera than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 8 also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a lot more mega pixels camera in the back, a larger camera aperture for better photography and videos in low light situations and higher video frame rates.
OnePlus 8 counts with a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 128 GB internal memory. The OnePlus 8 features a superior battery performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs more money than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 8. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the OnePlus 8, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
