The Sony Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s global score of 79.3. The Sony Xperia 5 design is incredibly newer than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s, although it's a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker. Sony Xperia 5 counts with a better performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has more cores and more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a much better display than Xperia 5, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a just a bit greater pixel number in each inch of screen. Sony Xperia 5 features a superior storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory.
The Xperia 5 has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3140mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing pictures in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the same video frame rate and a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a camera with much more mega pixels.
