Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, having a general score of 79.6 against 79.3. Even though the Xperia XZ3 is a lot newer than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, it is extremely thicker and heavier. These devices include Android OS, but Xperia XZ3 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1 version, providing the user a lot of extra features.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has just a bit better display than Xperia XZ3, although it has a quite smaller screen, a little inferior amount of pixels per inch in the display and a quite lower 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The Xperia XZ3 has much more memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ3 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Xperia XZ3 features a faster processor than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Xperia XZ3 also has a greater number of cores. The Xperia XZ3 takes slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a larger camera sensor shooting better quality photos and videos and a better 19 mega-pixels resolution camera.
Xperia XZ3 has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S6 edge+. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Galaxy S6 edge+, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
