Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a global score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 global score. These phones have Android OS, but Galaxy S6 edge+ has the older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Despite of the fact Galaxy S6 edge+ is older and just a little heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, it's design is still somewhat thinner.
Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a quite larger display, a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a just a bit more pixels per display inch. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a bit better CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also has a greater number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ takes slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing lower quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way higher resolution camera in the back and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photos.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little better battery duration than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 3200mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs more than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S6 edge+, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, giving up some specifications.
