Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S9 is slightly better than Huawei P20 Pro, getting an 83.3 score against 81.4. Samsung Galaxy S9's construction is just a bit lighter but just a bit thicker than the Huawei P20 Pro, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. The Galaxy S9 features a little bit better processing power than Huawei P20 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px and more pixels per inch of screen. Huawei P20 Pro shoots better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures or video in low-light situations and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a way bigger sensor capturing much better quality videos and photographs and a camera with a much higher resolution.
The Galaxy S9 features a better storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits up to 400 GB. The Huawei P20 Pro features longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, the Galaxy S9 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it a no doubt choice.
