Comparison review
Galaxy S9 is slightly better than the Huawei P30 Lite, with an 83.3 score against 77. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Galaxy S9 is an older, a bit heavier and somewhat thicker device than Huawei P30 Lite. The Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel count per inch of display and a better 1440 x 2960 resolution.
Galaxy S9 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P30 Lite. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount. Huawei P30 Lite counts with a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S9, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Huawei P30 Lite has just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S9, because it has a 3340mAh battery size against 3000mAh. The Galaxy S9 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a camera with way less megapixels resolution and a way tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, it also counts with a way better video resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited situations.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Galaxy S9 is also by far the cheapest one.
