LG G8 ThinQ is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S9, getting a general score of 84.3 against 83.3. LG G8 ThinQ is a a little bit heavier cellphone than Samsung Galaxy S9, but both of them are 0.33inches thick. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy S9, because although it has a quite lower pixel count per display inch, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a little larger display.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG G8 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM memory. LG G8 ThinQ features a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little longer battery life than Galaxy S9, because it has a 3500mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh. The Samsung Galaxy S9 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, a same size aperture, a same resolution back facing camera and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has a bigger back camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.

Although LG G8 ThinQ is a better device, it costs more than Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S9. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the LG G8 ThinQ, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S9, resigning some features and specs.
