Comparison review

The Galaxy A50 has an overall score of 83.8, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S9's general score of 83.3. The Galaxy A50 construction is newer and just a bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy S9's, but it's a bit heavier. Samsung Galaxy S9 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.

The Galaxy A50 features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S9, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB and more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S9 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A50. They have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM amount.

Samsung Galaxy A50 features longer battery performance than Galaxy S9, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh. Galaxy S9 has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a way worse resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a much higher video quality, a bigger camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photographs and a bigger aperture.

Although Samsung Galaxy A50 is a better device, it costs more money than the Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S9. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S9, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
