Galaxy S9 has a global score of 83.3, which is a bit better than Galaxy S7's global score of 79.5. The Galaxy S9 body is notably newer, but a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker than Galaxy S7. Galaxy S9 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy S7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy S9 also has more processing cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a slightly better display than Galaxy S9, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower 1440 x 2560px resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy S9 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor shooting lower quality photos, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same resolution camera in the back, the Galaxy S9 also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate and a larger diafragm aperture for better photography and videos in low light situations.
The Galaxy S9 has much more storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB and 64 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S9 feature really similar batteries duration.
The Galaxy S9 costs more than Galaxy S7, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
