Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has an overall score of 88.9, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S9's general score of 83.3. Although Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is newer than Samsung Galaxy S9, it's thicker and incredibly heavier. Galaxy S9 has a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a bit better processing power than Galaxy S9, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has 8 GB more RAM. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photography, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality pictures and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S9, because it has a 35% bigger battery size.
