Both devices we are comparing include Android OS, but Motorola Moto G has the newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy SL has Android 2.2 version, counting with a couple nice extra features and improved performance. Although it's the best cellphone in this review, the Motorola Moto G design is just a little thicker and a little heavier than Samsung Galaxy SL.
Moto G features a greater hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy SL, because it has a greater amount of RAM, a higher number of cores (and also faster) and a graphics processor. The Moto G features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy SL, because it has a much higher resolution of 1280 x 720px, a little bit larger display and a higher pixels amount in each inch in the screen.
The Motorola Moto G shoots clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy SL. Both have a same resolution back camera, the same 1280x720 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates. Galaxy SL counts with a better storage to store more apps and games than Moto G, because although it has just 4 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows up to 32 GB.
The Moto G has better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy SL, because it has a 2070mAh battery capacity against 1650mAh.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, the Motorola Moto G is also a lot cheaper.
