The LG Optimus L9 is just a bit better than Galaxy Star, with a overall score of 56.1 against 51.7. These phones include Android OS, but LG Optimus L9 has newer 4.1.2 version and Galaxy Star has Android 4.1 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. The LG Optimus L9 design is somewhat heavier but noticeably thinner than Galaxy Star, and they were released only 7 months apart.
LG Optimus L9 features an incredibly better screen than Galaxy Star, because it has a way greater display pixel density, a much better resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and a really larger display. LG Optimus L9 counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Star, because it has 512 MB more RAM, a greater number of cores and an additional graphics co-processor.
The LG Optimus L9's storage capacity for apps and games is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Star's one, both of them have the same 4 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 32 GB. The LG Optimus L9 features a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Star, because it has a 2150mAh battery size.
LG Optimus L9 has a much better camera than Galaxy Star, because it has a camera in the back with a lot higher 5 megapixels resolution and a way higher 1920x1080 video definition.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the LG Optimus L9 is also by far the cheapest one.
