Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 has an overall score of 77.4, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4S's overall score of 73.8. Huawei Mate 8 is a much older and a bit heavier cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4S, but Huawei was able to build it thinner anyway. Huawei Mate 8 has a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Xcover 4S, because it has a just a bit better pixels density, a larger screen and a lot better 1080 x 1920px resolution.
Huawei Mate 8 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 1 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 8 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Xcover 4S, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate 8 has a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4S, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh. Huawei Mate 8 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Xcover 4S, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing photos and video in low light environments, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei Mate 8 also counts with faster video frame rate.
