Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a global score of 75.8, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4S's 73.8 general score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's design is somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4S, although it is a bit heavier and was released about 17 months before. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4S has Android 10, so it provides a couple nice extra features.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4S, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Xcover 4S, because it has a way higher 1080 x 2160 resolution, a better number of pixels per inch of display and a larger display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features just a bit more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Xcover 4S, because although it has an external SD slot that admits 384 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4S, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
The Galaxy Xcover 4S captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video quality, the Galaxy Xcover 4S also has a back facing camera with lot more megapixels and a much bigger camera aperture to take better photos in poorly lited situations.
