Comparison review
Galaxy XCover 5 is just a bit better than the Honor 50 Pro, having a global score of 78.1 against 77. Even though Galaxy XCover 5 and the Honor 50 Pro were released with only a few months difference, the Galaxy XCover 5 construction is a bit lighter but also somewhat thicker than the Honor 50 Pro. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so both of them should provide the user all the same OS features.
Honor 50 Pro features a little better performance than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Honor 50 Pro also has more RAM. Honor 50 Pro features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a way higher 1236 x 2676 resolution, a greater screen density and a bigger display.
The Honor 50 Pro shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing pictures or video in low light environments, it also counts with a much more mega pixels back-facing camera and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Honor 50 Pro has a slightly bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. The Honor 50 Pro counts with superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
