Galaxy XCover 5 is a little bit better than the HTC One M9, getting a general score of 78.1 against 77.7. Galaxy XCover 5 is a notably newer and just a little bit thinner cellphone than HTC One M9, but it's a bit heavier. These phones have Android OS, but the Galaxy XCover 5 has 11 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, so it provides the user some extra features.

HTC One M9 takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for taking images in low-light situations, it also counts with a higher 20 mega pixels resolution back camera and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
