Comparison review
The Huawei P50 is much better than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, with a global score of 86.3 against 78.1. Although the Huawei P50 and the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 were released only 5 months apart, the Huawei P50 construction is somewhat thinner but just a bit heavier. The Huawei P50 works with HarmonyOS OS, while Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 works with Android 11 OS.
The Huawei P50 features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P50 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Huawei P50 has a much better screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot better resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels, a greater pixels density and a bigger display.
The Huawei P50 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Huawei P50 also has a lot higher resolution camera in the back. Huawei P50 features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Huawei P50 has a very superior battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
