Galaxy Note 5 is just a bit better than Galaxy XCover 5, getting a 79.3 score against 78.1. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS, but Galaxy Note 5 has the previous 5.1 version while Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11 version. Galaxy Note 5 is an notably older device than Galaxy XCover 5, but Samsung could make it just a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner anyway.
The Galaxy Note 5 features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a quite bigger screen, a way better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a much greater amount of pixels per display inch. The Galaxy XCover 5 has a bit faster processor than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a higher number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a lot better video quality. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB.
Galaxy Note 5 counts with a battery performance that is just as good as the Galaxy XCover 5 one.
