The Galaxy XCover 5 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note3, having a score of 78.1 against 77.7. Galaxy XCover 5's construction is incredibly newer than Samsung Galaxy Note3's, although it's just a little bit heavier and a bit thicker. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Galaxy XCover 5 has older 11 version while Samsung Galaxy Note3 has Android 4.4.2.
The Galaxy Note3 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a just a little better pixels density, a bit bigger display and a better 1080 x 1920 resolution. Galaxy XCover 5 has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and 4 more processing cores.
The Galaxy Note3 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a camera in the back with less mega pixels resolution and a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Galaxy XCover 5 has much more storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 1 TB. Galaxy Note3 features a little better battery life than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity.
