The Xperia PRO is way better than Galaxy XCover 5, with a score of 94.3 against 78.1. Even being the best we are comparing here, the Xperia PRO design is somewhat thicker and notably heavier than the Galaxy XCover 5.

The Sony Xperia PRO counts with an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840, a bigger screen and a way better pixels amount per inch of display.
Sony Xperia PRO has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB, the Sony Xperia PRO also has 448 GB more internal storage. Xperia PRO has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a camera with much less mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video quality and a larger camera aperture.
