Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a bit better than the Huawei P40, having a general score of 88.5 against 86.4. Even though Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and the Huawei P40 were only released with a couple months difference, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip's construction is just a bit heavier but also thinner than the Huawei P40. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has 12 version and Huawei P40 has Android 10.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has just a bit better performance than Huawei P40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip also has more RAM memory. The Huawei P40 and Galaxy Z Flip both have really similar displays, although the Huawei P40 has a quite smaller screen, a bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution and a just a little less pixels per inch of display.
Huawei P40 takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photos, and they both have the same video quality and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back camera with a way higher resolution and a way larger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Huawei P40, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei P40 has a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Huawei P40, letting go some specifications.
