Galaxy Z Flip has an overall score of 88.5, which is much better than Motorola Edge 40's general score of 77.2. The Galaxy Z Flip is a way older and just a little heavier cellphone than the Motorola Edge 40, but Samsung managed to make it a little thinner anyway. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Z Flip has the previous 12 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a much faster processing unit than Motorola Edge 40. Both have 8 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processor. The Motorola Edge 40 has a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, although it has a little lower 1080 x 2400px resolution, a bit smaller display and a little lower pixels density.
The Galaxy Z Flip has a very superior memory for apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 256 GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge 40 features longer battery life than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. Motorola Edge 40 takes better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more MP, a much larger aperture to capture better low-light images and video and a lot bigger sensor capturing much higher quality pictures.
