Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than the LG V40 ThinQ, with a global score of 94.6 against 81.2. Although the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is noticeably heavier than LG V40 ThinQ, it's just a bit thinner and also newer. These phones work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has the newer 11 version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10 version, so it gives lots of additional features.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a little better hardware performance than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM memory. LG V40 ThinQ has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and a greater quantity of pixels per inch of screen.
The LG V40 ThinQ counts with more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has superior battery performance than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 shoots clearer photographs and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light captures, and they both have the same video frame rates, a camera with a 12 MP and the same video quality, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with a lot larger back camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V40 ThinQ. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the LG V40 ThinQ, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
