Comparison review
Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3's score of 90.6. These devices include the same Android 11 OS, so both should give you all the same operating system features. Although the Xperia 1 III and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 were released only a couple months apart, the Xperia 1 III construction is extremely lighter but notably thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The Sony Xperia 1 III's processing unit is very similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 one, both have 8 processing cores and 12 GB of RAM. The Xperia 1 III counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Z Fold 3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a lot better screen pixel density.
Xperia 1 III takes way better videos and photos than Galaxy Z Fold 3, and although they both have the same resolution back camera, the Xperia 1 III also has a way bigger diafragm aperture for better low light captures and video.
