Samsung Epic 4G Touch is a bit better than Samsung Vibrant, getting a 60.8 score against 55.4. The Samsung Epic 4G Touch design is newer and just a little thinner, but a bit heavier than the Samsung Vibrant. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS, but Samsung Epic 4G Touch has newer 4.1.2 version and Samsung Vibrant has Android 2.2 version, giving a lot of extra features and some performance improvements.
The Samsung Epic 4G Touch counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Vibrant, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores. The Samsung Vibrant has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Epic 4G Touch, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 480px, the Samsung Vibrant also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Epic 4G Touch counts with a much better camera than Samsung Vibrant, because it has a back camera with a much higher 8 mega pixels resolution and a way better video resolution. Samsung Epic 4G Touch's storage for games and applications is just as good as the Samsung Vibrant one, both of them have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB and the same internal storage.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch features better battery performance than Samsung Vibrant, because it has a 20% greater battery size.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Samsung Epic 4G Touch is also by far the cheapest one.
