The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is just a bit better than the Samsung W2017, with an 80.1 score against 73.2. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung W2017 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little more vivid display than Samsung W2017, because it has a larger display, a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a little bit better pixel density.
Samsung W2017 shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have a 12 megapixels resolution camera in the back, the Samsung W2017 also counts with a lot higher video quality.
