Comparison review

The Galaxy Y is a little bit better than the Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman, having a score of 46.3 against 42.2. The Galaxy Y is a a little bit lighter and notably thinner device than Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman, even when both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Y has the newer 2.3 version while Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman has Android 2.1, so it gives you some additional features.

The Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Y, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman also has a higher pixel density and a lot higher 480 x 320 resolution. Galaxy Y features a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 32 GB and 163,84 MB internal memory.

Galaxy Y features a little bit better processing power than Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman. Both of them have a Single-Core CPU. The Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Y, because it has a much better resolution camera in the back. Galaxy Y counts with a much longer battery duration than Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman.
