Comparison review

The CAT S42 has a score of 59.4, which is slightly better than Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S's 54 score. Although the CAT S42 is a lot newer than the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, it's heavier and a lot thicker. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but CAT S42 has a more recent 10 version while Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S has Android 4.0.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S has a bit more vivid display than CAT S42, although it has a way worse 854 x 480px resolution, a lot smaller screen and a just a little less pixels per inch of screen. CAT S42 has a bit better processing power than Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

The CAT S42 has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, because it has more internal memory and an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The CAT S42 captures much better photos and videos than Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, because it has a camera in the back with a way better resolution, a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a larger aperture for better low light captures and video.

The CAT S42 features a way better battery lifetime than Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S.

In addition to being the best phone in our comparison, the CAT S42 is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
