Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is a good Android cellphone released many years ago, which features a 4.2 inches multi touch screen, an 8.1 MP back side camera and a 1400 megahertz processor.
Sony offers this phone in a variety of colors: black, gray, pink, blue and white. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is just 0.34" thick, taking it to the thinnest device's category. This phone feels much lighter than what one would expect from a phone of this size.
Sony packed this phone with a very good 4.2 inches display, and a 854 x 480 resolution, which makes it hard to see the pixels composing the display. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This device comes with a powerful processor clocking at 1400 megahertz, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8255 chip and 512 MB RAM memory. Graphic calculations generally consume a lot of processor cycles, so it also has a 245 MHz Adreno 205 graphics processing unit to take some work out of the processor. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S has a 1 GB internal storage memory, a poor amount that may be adequate for basic users knowing that it also has a slot for external memory cards to store photos and videos and even some apps and games that can be installed in the external memory.
This cellphone counts with WiFi capability (and it can share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G data connection, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S has only an 8.1 megapixels back side camera. It is capable of filming HD 1280x720 videos. To complete the camera, it also counts with a large number of useful characteristics: auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S also includes a couple useful features such as Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
This cellphone is not a good choice considering it costs $ 359, while other similar devices are being sold much cheaper than that.
