LG Lucid 2 Review

LG Lucid 2 is a pretty good Android cellphone launched in 2013, which counts with a great performance Dual-Core processor running at 1.2 gigahertz, a 4.3" multi-touch capacitive screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front camera. That's everything we have to say? Not at all, it's just the tip of the iceberg.

LG appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.55 ounces cellphone. This phone is very thin and comfortable, with a thickness of just 0.39 inches. This cellphone only has 4.82" long, but it's able to fit a a 4.3" screen.

LG equipped this cellphone with a interesting 4.3-inches screen, and a resolution of 960 x 540 , giving this phone a nice graphic quality. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone is powered by a good performance 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processing unit, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chip with 1 GB of RAM memory. Graphic rendering usually eats lots of processing power, so it counts with an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit working at 400 MHz to take care of them, leaving the CPU free for other tasks. This phone comes with an 8 GB interesting internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card, enough to install hundreds of apps and games without running out of space.

This phone offers wi-fi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem), LTE (4G) fast internet connection and 3G internet connection, supported by EV-DO A technologies. The LG Lucid 2 doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections and it works in CDMA networks.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. It is also able to film 1920x1080 Full HD videos. The camera also counts with a couple of interesting features like flash, auto-focus, fast burst mode and HDR mode.

This phone has a big capacity 2460 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, enough to provide this cellphone with an extremely long battery life. LG claims this phone has a 450 hs stand by time and a 21 hs talk time.

This phone also comes with some useful features such as Wireless charging, Bluetooth (allows communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is really overvalued considering it is priced 259 dollars, while some similar phones cost a lot less than that. No matter whether you will use it for work, will use it as a social cellphone or want a phone to play lots of games, you will probably love this cellphone.
