Motorola DROID Ultra Review

Motorola DROID Ultra is a great device launched in July 2013, having a good size 5" multi touch display, an exceptional Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1.7 GHz, and two cameras, a 10 mega-pixels back camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera. Let's take a closer sight of what this phone can do.

Motorola decided to power this cellphone using a Motorola X8 system chip, packing an extremely powerful 1700 megahertz Dual-Core CPU and a huge 2 GB of RAM. A good point of this cellphone is its 16 GB quite big internal storage memory and while it doesn't have an SD memory card expansion slot, it is enough to store a couple hundred applications and games, but it might not be enough if you are planning to install some of the largest games currently available.

This phone is much lighter than what one would think about a device of this size. Motorola made this cellphoneavailable just in two different colors: black and red. This cellphone is a very compact cellphone, given that it presents a 5 inches display and it is only 5.41 inches long and 2.8" wide. This phone is incredibly slim and stilized, with a thickness of just 0.28". This phone counts with wifi connection (which it can share with other devices as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) great performance data connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, which is a lower speed 4G network and 3G fast data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS, EV-DO A and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a Nano SIM card for GSM connection and it can use both CDMA and GSM.

This phone uses a 2130 mAh massive battery, which isn't too much for a cellphone like this.

This cellphone also includes some useful characteristics such as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your device close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

The Motorola DROID Ultra may be a bit expensive considering it costs 120 dollars, and other similar cellphones can be found for less money.
