HTC One X Review

HTC One X is an incredible device launched in 2012, equipped with a Quad-Core processor running at 1500 megahertz, a 4.7" screen, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. Let's take a deeper look at what this device can do.

HTC has made a very nice design job making this cellphone as lightweight as 4.59 ounces. Although this cellphone is only 5.29" long and 2.75" wide, it manages to pack a 4.7 inches display. The HTC One X has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.35 inches. HTC made this phone in three color options, black, white and gray.

This cellphone ships with a NVIDIA Tegra 3 T30 chip, backed up by an exceptional 1500 megahertz Quad-Core CPU and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little poor considering its impressive processing power. Collaborating with graphic calculations, this cellphone also uses a 520 MHz ULP GeForce GPU. An excellent feature of this phone is its inmense 32 GB internal storage memory and even though it doesn't have an external memory slot, it is still enough to store hundreds of applications and even the heaviest games available nowadays without having to worry about how much memory is left.

This cellphone features two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front side camera. It can also capture Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 23 frames per second. Additionally, this phone's camera also has lots of valuable characteristics: flash, auto-focus, digital image stabilization, fast burst mode, face detection shooting, HDR mode, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone includes a spectacular 4.7" display with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes everything look absolutely great. Its display uses S-LCD 2 capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This phone uses a medium capacity 1800 mAh Li-Polymer battery providing this cellphone with a below average battery life.

This device provides WiFi connectivity (which can be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ 4G connectivity, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC One X uses a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers.

The HTC One X also comes with plenty of cool features like NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Localization and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

HTC offers this cellphone for 125 dollars, which is not so cheap for this type of cellphone. No matter if you love photography, want a cellphone to mainly use social networks, want a gamer phone or want a work phone, this phone is definitely a good choice .
