The Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is better than LG G8X ThinQ's 82.7 overall score. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the Xperia 1 III has a more recent 11 version while LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10. Xperia 1 III is a newer phone, and it is also just a little thinner and just a bit lighter than LG G8X ThinQ.

Xperia 1 III has a little faster processor than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 1 III also has 6 GB more RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a better display than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution, a little larger screen and a much greater number of pixels per inch in the display.

Xperia 1 III has slightly more memory capacity to store more games and applications than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a SD memory slot that holds 976 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB more internal storage capacity. Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a little better battery lifetime than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

The Xperia 1 III features a little bit better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a 12 megapixels camera and the same video quality, the Xperia 1 III also has faster video frame rates, a lot bigger camera sensor and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography.
