Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 III is a lot better than the OnePlus 8 Pro, with a 93.3 score against 77.2. Sony Xperia 1 III's construction is newer, just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner than OnePlus 8 Pro. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a little sharper display than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a bit worse 1440 x 3168 resolution and a just a little less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bit larger screen.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Xperia 1 III features just a little better processing power than OnePlus 8 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 III also has more RAM.
OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a better camera than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has worse video frame rates and a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same video resolution, the OnePlus 8 Pro also counts with a much more MP camera in the back and a bigger camera sensor taking better quality photographs and videos.

The Sony Xperia 1 III is way more expensive than the OnePlus 8 Pro, but you can get a much better phone for that few extra dollars.
