Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A52 5G's 91.3 general score. Even though Sony Xperia 1 III and Galaxy A52 5G were released only a couple months apart, Sony Xperia 1 III is just a little lighter and a little bit thinner. These devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia 1 III has the previous 11 version while Galaxy A52 5G has Android 12.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, and although they both have a same size display, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a much better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution. The Xperia 1 III has a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB, the Xperia 1 III also has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has more RAM memory. The Galaxy A52 5G features a better camera than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for shooting images in low-light environments and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a 0.59 inches sensor, the Galaxy A52 5G also counts with a much more MP back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy A52 5G's battery duration is very similar to the battery performance in Sony Xperia 1 III.
