Comparison review

Xperia 1 III is much better than the Galaxy Note 5, getting a overall score of 93.3 against 79.3. Both phones we are comparing include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 1 III has newer 11 version while Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1, giving you some additional features and performance optimizations. The Xperia 1 III construction is noticeably newer than the Galaxy Note 5's, although it is a bit thicker and a bit heavier.

Galaxy Note 5 features a bit better screen than Xperia 1 III, although it has a little smaller screen, a little worse pixel density and a lot worse resolution of 2560 x 1440. Xperia 1 III has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 5, because it has an external SD slot that admits up to 1 TB and 192 GB more internal memory.

Xperia 1 III has a quite superior performance than Galaxy Note 5, because it has more processing cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Xperia 1 III features a really longer battery life than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. Xperia 1 III has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a way less MP back-facing camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better captures in poorly lited situations and a way larger camera sensor.

Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xperia 1 III, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, letting go some specs and features.
