Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is much better than the Galaxy S25's 82.6 global score. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia 1 III has an older 11 version while Galaxy S25 has Android 14 version. Galaxy S25 has a bit sharper screen than Xperia 1 III, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a lot lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a way lower quantity of pixels per screen inch.
Xperia 1 III has a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S25, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Xperia 1 III features a much better performance than Samsung Galaxy S25, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S25, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The Galaxy S25 counts with a better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality, a back camera with way more MP and a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 III is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S25, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
