Sony Xperia 1 III is a little bit better than the Xperia 5 II, with a overall score of 93.3 against 87.2. Even though the Sony Xperia 1 III is a better phone than the Xperia 5 II, we must tell that it is also heavier and just a little bit thicker. Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia 5 II, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM.

The Sony Xperia 1 III features a slightly better looking display than Xperia 5 II, because it has a greater amount of pixels per inch of screen, a quite larger screen and a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840. The Xperia 1 III has a little bit better camera than Xperia 5 II. Both of them have a F1.7 aperture, the same 120 fps video frame rate, a 0.59 inches sensor, a same resolution back camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution.

The Sony Xperia 1 III features a much bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia 5 II, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that admits up to 1 TB.
