Comparison review
Xperia 1 VI is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having an 83.2 score against 76.6. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 VI has a newer 14 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10. The Xperia 1 VI body is incredibly lighter and much thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much powerful CPU than Xperia 1 VI, although it has 9 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Sony Xperia 1 VI counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a little bit larger screen, a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a much greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI shoots much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light images and videos, and they both have a camera in the back with a 48 megapixels, the Sony Xperia 1 VI also counts with a lot bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Xperia 1 VI has a superior memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has an external SD slot that supports up to 1 TB and 192 GB more internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's battery life is very similar to the battery life in Xperia 1 VI, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
