Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 II is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, with a score of 87.2 against 75.7. Sony Xperia 5 II's body has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but it's somewhat lighter. Xperia 5 II has a much better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 5 II also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with just a bit better looking screen than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a bit lower display pixels density, it also counts with a little bigger display. Xperia 5 II has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xperia 5 II also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing photos in low-light environments and worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a lot more MP back camera and a larger sensor capturing better quality photographs.
