Comparison review
Xperia 5 III is much better than the Huawei P30, having a 90.5 score against 81.7. The Xperia 5 III is a noticeably newer phone than the Huawei P30, although it is a little thicker and a little heavier. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 5 III has newer 11 version and Huawei P30 has Android 10 version, so it offers a couple additional features and performance tweaks.
Sony Xperia 5 III features a little sharper screen than Huawei P30, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Sony Xperia 5 III also has a bit more pixels per screen inch and a bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution. The Xperia 5 III has just a bit better processing power than Huawei P30, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 5 III also has 2 GB more RAM.
Sony Xperia 5 III features a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P30, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1 TB. Xperia 5 III features improved battery lifetime than Huawei P30, because it has a 23% greater battery size.
Huawei P30 has a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking photos or videos in low light situations and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution and a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Huawei P30 also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera.
