Comparison review
Galaxy A51 5G is just a bit better than the Xperia 5 III, with a score of 90.8 against 90.5. Although it's the best in this review, we must tell that it is also older, just a bit thicker and just a little bit heavier. Both of these devices work with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so both should give identical OS features.
The Sony Xperia 5 III has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A51 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 5 III also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xperia 5 III has a bit better looking display than Galaxy A51 5G, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little better display density and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2520.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G counts with just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rates, a tinier sensor which offers a worse photo and video quality and a smaller camera aperture which is worse for taking pictures or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G also counts with a way more megapixels back facing camera.
The Xperia 5 III has a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, because it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and more internal storage. Galaxy A51 5G's battery duration is very similar to the Xperia 5 III one.
