Comparison review

Sony Xperia 5 III has a score of 90.5, which is much better than Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 overall score. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia 5 III has the older 11 version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison review, Sony Xperia 5 III is a somewhat thicker and notably heavier cellphone than the Galaxy Alpha.

Xperia 5 III counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with more RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The Galaxy Alpha and Xperia 5 III have extremely similar screens, although the Galaxy Alpha has a much smaller display, a way lower 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a way worse number of pixels in each inch in the display.

The Sony Xperia 5 III features a superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 256 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Xperia 5 III shoots much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a 12 MP resolution camera in the back and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 5 III also has faster 120 frames per second video frame rate and a way larger camera aperture.

Xperia 5 III features a superior battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
