The Xperia 5 III is much better than the Galaxy XCover FieldPro, having a general score of 90.5 against 80.1. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia 5 III has 11 version while Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Xperia 5 III is a newer cellphone, and it is also noticeably lighter and thinner than the Galaxy XCover FieldPro.
Xperia 5 III features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 5 III also has 4 GB more RAM. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a bit sharper screen than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel quantity in each inch of screen and a slightly better 1440 x 2560px resolution.
The Sony Xperia 5 III takes much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same resolution back camera, the Sony Xperia 5 III also counts with a much higher (4K) video quality and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xperia 5 III counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 1 TB and more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro's battery lifetime is very similar to the Sony Xperia 5 III one.
