Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a score of 84.2, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia 5's 81 overall score. Although the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is noticeably newer than Sony Xperia 5, it is just a bit thicker and much heavier. The Xperia 5 has a much faster processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a more vivid display than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a quite worse pixel density and a little worse 1080 x 2400px resolution, it also counts with a bit larger display. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro takes way better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for shooting images or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a lot higher video quality, a back-facing camera with a way higher 50 megapixels resolution and a way bigger camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photos.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xperia 5, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a very superior battery performance than Xperia 5, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3140mAh.
