Comparison review
Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is just a bit better than Google Nexus 6P's general score of 80.3. Even though Xperia 5 is just a little thicker than Google Nexus 6P, it's just a little bit lighter and also extremely newer. Google Nexus 6P features a little bit better looking screen than Xperia 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a just a little higher screen pixels density.
Xperia 5 features much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Xperia 5 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB. Sony Xperia 5 has a bit superior processing unit than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has more RAM.
The Google Nexus 6P counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 10% larger battery capacity. The Google Nexus 6P captures a bit better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Google Nexus 6P also counts with a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and pictures and a camera with a higher resolution.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs more than Google Nexus 6P, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Nexus 6P. If you want to save some money, you can get the Google Nexus 6P, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
